Ryan's original life was destroyed by his so called friend(Mike). This is or was Identity Death of Ryan now Mandy. This could be said Identity Theft is also involved. Ryan's identity as a male was stolen from him thru a malicious act, probably never seeing or remembering his original family members and the list could go on. It could be said , Mike is a truly evil person. I would not call this a happy or lovely ending.
