I really hope that she finds happiness in her new life as a girl. It would be too sad if all this was a burden for her only because her mom wanted a daughter but never got one while she was still alive. Now that the mom has passed away, would it be right for her son to be unhappy and rejected by the male-dominant family because of the sex change? No, the new girl may feel awkward, but she will grow into her new life and find her feminine soul; and her family (dad, brothers) will embrace her too, I think, so mom's spirit will be gently smiling and hugging them too. ^ ^
