This is a well written story with an unusual and bittersweet ending. What are little girls made of? Guess he'll find out since he's now his dream date, Alice. He should've known no one is that cordial or compatible on the first date. Then he risked a tree in a thunderstorrm...clueless. Whoever Alice was, she or he didn't hang around to inform the tyro Alice. I guess she let him keep the purse. Of course, if I had to end in his or now her heels, I'd try to figure to take the purse, find my new ID, and move on.
