And who doesn't like happy endings? It's great that Nina did not defeat Bryan's spirit. It sounds like Nina will keep complaining about how the "glass is half empty" until the end of her days, while Bryan will make the most of life and see the "glass is half full." Optimism/pessimism lies in the heart, not the outside world, an important lesson to remember in tough times!
