This was an excellent story. It had an ending where both Luke and Patricia ended up as husband and wife. I'm sure that was Luke's plan in the beginning was to begin relations between the two roommates when Pat woke up as Patricia in the first place. Even after the reality shift, if he lost his memory and Patricia didn't I'm sure some part of him had plans to get involved. Patricia may never know, but she fell in love with him despite her male memories. If I had awoken one morning as a lovely and healthy woman, I'd just deal with it too.
