I like mass swaps but in GS, victims ratio too hyperbolic. I mean if %80 or 90 of earth's people randomly swap bodies, the chaos never settle down. Think about it, there are millions of driver on the road(think about millions of traffic accident and deaths), thousands of planes on the air, swaps of murderers, psychopats, criminals ect. My guess, right after great shift at least there would be millions of deaths, disabilities, looting, fires. There will be no such as trust. Without trust you can say hello to 10 x Great Depression(high inflation, unemployment, scarcity, famine lasts years). So even someone like me or you swap with dream bodies, we can't focus our own new bodies or lives because of worldwide anarchy. Also there will be too much to worry about like our parents, friends or possessions.
But if swap ratio would be %10 or 20 eventually nonshifters and decent victims prevail and chaos will settle down and there will be less worry to about. Probably economy turns normality after a few years later.

You're 100% right. If the great shift happened in real life the number of casualties would be enormous and it will litterally mean the apocalypse for mankind. However I hardly think of any realism when it comes to some of my captions, especially the great shift. You can say it's pure fantasy ;) I love the idea of body swapping and the great shift is just one of the many ways to make a story about a man finding himself in a woman's body :D
The minor shift is great as well. Especially when the victims are forced to keep their new apperances due to secrecy. I didn't make many of minor shift captions but I will sure dig the topic ;)

Normally, great shift genre isn't my thing but this is quite good. I really liked it.
